National Publication Ranks Medical City Dallas Among the “Best Hospitals” in Texas
DALLAS – Medical City Dallas ranks among the best hospitals in the country for gynecology care according to the latest report by U.S. News & World Report. In the 2017-2018 Best Hospitals report, Medical City ranks #19 among the 50 best in the nation.
Medical City Dallas as a whole was also recognized among the best regionally, ranking third in North Texas area and sixth in Texas. High Performer status was also achieved in cancer, urology, aortic valve surgery, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, colon cancer surgery, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hip replacement, knee replacement and lung cancer surgery.

The annual Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 28th year, are part of U.S. News & World Report’s patient portal, designed to help patients make informed decisions about where to receive care for life-threatening conditions or for common elective procedures.
