Purpose and Objectives

The purpose of the Family Practice Grand Round is to enhance positive patient outcome by improving diagnosis, and treatment of conditions encountered by the family practice physician in the office setting.

Specific Objectives of Each Case Conferences:

  • Determine when referral to a specialist is indicated
  • Enhance communication and follow-up care between the primary physician and the specialists

Target Audience

The target audience will be Family Practice Physicians, but other physicians may attend if interested.  Also the series will be open to other healthcare professionals.

Accreditation

Medical City Dallas Hospital is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
