Becoming a Volunteer
We have over 50 areas and programs where volunteers give their time, guidance and input. The three simple steps involved in becoming a Medical City volunteer are:
- Send in an application
- Interview
- Complete a health profile screening
Send in the application forms provided to become a volunteer. Volunteers need to be available to make a minimum commitment of 80 to 100 hours of volunteer time, which is equal to approximately one 4-hour shift once a week for six to seven months. Medical City Hospital offers both junior and adult volunteer opportunities.
Expect a background check to be conducted, too.
TB tests and our health profile screenings are performed free of charge in the hospital's Employee Health office.
