What inspired you to join the Medical City Board?

My interest in health care, past experience consulting with hospitals and my interest in civic involvement and community service.

What do you like most about Medical City?

Quality is the focus of the organization. Providing an environment that is patient centered but very supportive of all employees. There is a great leadership team that inspires and nurtures a high performance organization.

  • Past President of the Board of Directors of The Vogal Alcove Childcare Center for homeless children and families and served on the board for over 12 years
  • Past President and long serving board member for Equest Theraeutic Horseback Riding for the Disabled
  • Past Vice President and member of the Board of Trustees for 10 years of Temple Emanu-el - one of the largest reform Jewish congregations in America
  • Past Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Dallas Childrens Theater
  • Past Vice President and Board member of the Leadership/Education Group for The Dallas Assembly
  • The Associate Board of Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business
  • The Board of Directors of KERA/North Texas Public Radio and Television
  • The Board of Trustees and multiple Committee Chairman of Greenhill School for 9 years - a large private independent school in Dallas
  • The Board of Trustees of the I Have a Dream Foundation - keeping kids in school

Is there anything particularly interesting or important that you would like to share?

I believe Medical City is one of the great institutions in our community and it is my privilege to serve on the board.
