Charter of the Nursing Research Committee Research (clinical inquiry) provides a scientific basis for the practice of nursing. It is essential for the development of the science of nursing and the body of knowledge, to support superior patient outcomes.
Purpose The purpose of the committee is to:
Promote nursing research and its value to the Medical City Dallas Hospital nursing staff and the nursing community at large.
Provide expertise and facilitation that supports the development of nursing research.
Evaluate the effectiveness of research in the clinical settings.
Disseminate research findings to Medical City Dallas Hospital nursing staff and nursing community.
